Hatha Yoga

Hatha classes focus on building strong alignment and connection with the breath in the yoga postures. The first part of the practise is a set sequence, take advantage of moving the body in coordination with the breath to warm up and find a sense of ease and fluidity. We then work towards holding the postures for a more extended period of time to support the process of calming the mind. During the second part of the practice we work towards intermediate postures deepening our understanding of alignment principles and challenging our own perceptions of ourselves. All levels are welcome, adjustments and options will be given!
